Katie
K Snapp, Principal and Princess

In Katie's Words:
What you MUST know first about me is that I prefer to get business done
in a non-traditional way. That includes using femininity, creativity,
humor, and just a generally optimistic view of the world. (If you agree
with that, you'll enjoy the course). My friends will be quick to tell
you that I am a little nutty ...
I have been working
in industry as a trainer and consultant for 22 years - and that is my
SECOND career! The first was as an electrical engineer, so you can
imagine that I was and still am in many male-dominated
situations.
Skirt Studies was developed to help
women look at traditional settings where we default to not-so-natural
approaches to getting something done and see it fresh. At the
heart of it is still a solid foundation of skills for interacting and
getting work accomplished.
Carol Wight, Advisor and Heiress
In
Carol's Words: Currently I am the CEO of a nonprofit
organization but an entrepreneur at heart. I started my first business
when I was 21. I have owned and operated my own businesses for over
twenty years. I have managed over 150 employees at one time and
thousands throughout my career. I have also promoted many women to
leadership positions. I usually see them struggle when given positions
of leadership and authority. I know first-hand about being a female
leader and coaching others in leadership positions. I am a certified
Franklin Covey 7 Habits Facilitator as well as a True Colors,
personality based team-building facilitator.I live in Albuquerque with
my very supportive husband, crazy six-toed cat. and five daughters.
